Entry fees and how to get in
A swim at Woodlands costs $1 for an adult and 50 cents for a child on a weekday. Singapore citizens aged 65 and over swim free. You pay in the MyActiveSG+ app and scan in at the gantry.
What one swim costs
Woodlands is a “normal” ActiveSG pool, the cheaper of ActiveSG’s two tiers. Weekend prices apply on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. There’s no peak or off-peak pricing by time of day.

MyActiveSWIM: unlimited swims

Seniors also get a family concession: on weekdays (not public holidays), immediate family swimming with them pay concession rates too.
How to get in
- Buy a pass in the MyActiveSG+ app. You need Singpass to sign up. Pay by PayNow, credit or debit card, or ActiveSG credits. The old MyCash wallet is gone, so there’s nothing to top up.
- Scan in at the gantry with the pass’s QR code, or your NRIC, driver’s licence, PAssion card, Pioneer Generation card or student pass.
- Scan out when you leave. Woodlands is one of the pools with gantries; ActiveSG uses them to count who’s still in the water. A single-entry pass is good for one entry, with no re-entry.
No Singpass? Tourists and others without Singpass can buy a single-entry pass from the pool staff. A domestic helper or relative bringing a child can buy the child’s pass on their own app account or at the counter.
ActiveSG credits: the $100 of SG60 credits given to Singaporeans and PRs in 2025 can pay for swim passes in full. They last until the end of 2026, and roll over into 2027 if you use them at least once in 2026.
Free entry, and what doesn’t get you in free
- Singapore citizens aged 65 and over: free at every ActiveSG pool. Log in to MyActiveSG+ once, then scan the free pass, your NRIC or driver’s licence, or your PAssion, Merdeka or Pioneer Generation card.
- Caregivers of people with special needs: free for the whole session. Ask the staff on duty. The swimmer pays the normal rate.
- Parents dropping off for a lesson: 15 minutes free to help a child get ready before or after class. Staying to watch the whole class needs a pass.
- SAFRA members: not free here. SAFRA membership covers SAFRA’s own club pools. ActiveSG’s rates list no SAFRA discount.
- Children: child rates apply from age 1 to 17.

How much is the entrance fee?
For Singapore citizens and PRs: adults (18–54) pay $1.00 on weekdays and $1.30 on weekends and public holidays; children (1–17) and seniors (55+) pay $0.50 and $0.60. Singapore citizens aged 65 and above swim free. The non-resident adult rate is $1.30 / $1.70.
How do I enter Woodlands Swimming Complex?
Buy a pass in the MyActiveSG+ app, then scan its QR code (or your NRIC) at the gantry. Woodlands has gantries, so you scan out as well. If you don’t have Singpass, pool staff can sell you a single-entry pass.
Is swimming free for SAFRA members?
Only at SAFRA’s own club pools. ActiveSG’s rates list no SAFRA discount, so at Woodlands SAFRA members pay the normal rates.
Is it free for seniors?
Singapore citizens aged 65 and above swim free at all ActiveSG pools; log in to MyActiveSG+ once, then scan the free pass or your NRIC. Other seniors aged 55 and above pay $0.50 on weekdays and $0.60 on weekends.
Can children swim on their own?
Children under 12 can only enter with a parent or caregiver, and children aged 6 and under must be kept within arm’s reach of an adult in the water.
